Yonaguni Description
  There are only about 108 free ranging Yonaguni ponies and 75 are living on ranches in Japan. Its is a small, extemely rare breed of pony and has a gentle personality. It is generally not kept as a pet, but is well known for its strength and gentleness. It is very capable of being used for both transportation and as a plow horse. Its back is long and has straight set shoulders. It is usually chestnut in color. Its head is fairly big and has a compact neck. Despite its size, it is very strong and hardy.
