  The Welsh Mountain Pony is an ancient, intelligent pony that is highly suitable for children. They are a lovable, endearing animal originaly developed in Wales. The Welsh Mountain Pony is a handsome animal and is often seen in the ring or in horse shows, both in Britain and in the United States. It is also suitable for work in the harness. It is a very small pony with a small head, large eyes, and a small muzzle, making it an adorable animal. It has a relatively long neck and it holds it tail high.
