Taishuh Description
The Taishuh is also known as Taishu. It is a small, rugged, docile breed of pony native to Japan. They are commonly ridden by children or farmer's wives and are quite rare. They are used for riding and light draft. It is known for its endurance and ability to thrive on very little food and in servere weather. Like most native Japanese breeds, it is small. It has a fairly large head and its neck is carried horizontally. It appears in bay, brown, chestnut roan, and cremello. Some may have a black dorsal stripe. Its mane is thich and flowing and it has very tough hooves.
