Shetland Pony Description
  The Shetland pony is small, but a very adaptable pony and therefore is a good animal for many different environments. The Shetland pony is not only known as a wonderful pet, but also as a work animal. It is also an excellent show animal. The Shetland Pony is generally hearty and healthy, with may account for its popularity. It does very well in many different environments. It can be seen in a wide array of colors, although black is seen the most. It is stocky, with short legs and is quite strong for its size. It also has a short back and deep barrel.
