The Palomino
Horse is a color type that has been revered throughout
the ages and continues to be revered today for its majesty
and beauty. It is also known as the Isabella, Golden
One, Golden Horse, and Golden Dorado. The Palomino Horse
comes in five divisions, which are represented by Quarter
Horses, Saddlebreds, Morgan, Arabian and Tennessee Walking
Horses. Coloring is of a light to dark gold. Eyes are
black, brown, or hazel and it is a definate must that
the mane and tail of the Palomino be white with a leeway
of only 15 percent for chestnut, sorrel and dark hair.
They must have the refine bone, head and general structure
in the breeds that is recongnized by the PHBA. |
