The Gidran
is a rare breed, with only about 200 known Gidrans existing
in the world today. It is a large Hungarian breed used
in hunting, driving, and jumping competitions. The Gidran
is a four-generation pedigree and crossed with Chestnut,
Thoroughbred, Arabian, and Anglo-Arabian horses. They
are known for their speed, endurance, agility, and courage.
They are lively and not particularly docile. Though
the Gidran can be other solid colors, only one color
is acceptable, which is chestnut. They are on the larger
size of medium. They are half-breeds with a small head
and a straight profile. Their ears are quite small and
their eyes are large and lively. Its back is long, strong,
and straight and its neck is arched. The Gidran is a
very powerful horse with muscular croup, shoulders,
legs, and thighs. Its feet are well formed and strong.
