Dartmoor Pony Description
  The Dartmoor pony is a very ancient breed. It is valued for its intelligence and gentleness, making the Dartmoor pony suitable for riders of all ages, especially children. Though it is small in stature, it is quite strong and sturdy. The Dartmoor is known to be an avid jumper. It is very capable of being used as a pack animal or in harness. It has a tiny head with large, intelligent eyes. The ears are perky and wide, set with a sturdy neck and jaw. These ponies can be seen in just about any color, although piebald and skewbald are not accepted.
