Connemara Pony Description
The Connemara Pony is a small, agile, gentle pony that makes a wonderful animal for children and adults. In fact, these ponies have been used for the disabled. It is relatively easy to take care for and feed. It is a compact animal with short legs. They are one of the larger of native British Ponies. The Connemara's coat can be alomost any solid color. It has an attractive head and large, warm eyes. It has a fairly long life span, and has been known to live longer than 30 years. It is the only native pony of Ireland and had been used for generations in Ireland as a working animal for farmers.
