The Azteca
Horse is the National Horse of Mexico. It is a very
obedient, lively, and happy horse. It is quite versatile
and useful for many different things. It is a very able
high performance horse. Their coat colors should be
only solid colors. The Azteca is very muscular and well-proportioned
thoughout their body, especially in their legs, which
show very prominent tendons. The feet are very hard
and proportionate. All Azteca Horse heads should be
lean and elegant. The area around the jaw in males is
slightly more developed than that of the female. Their
necks should be narrower near the head but fairly wide
at its base. They have very expressive eyes that show
their intelligence. Its ears are fairly small and pricked.
The tail set is carried low, and both the tail and mane
should be flowing and long.
