The American
Miniature Horse is a bred-down version of larger breeds,
including Arabians, Thoroughbreds and Draft Horses.
They are very friendly, gentle animals and are favorite
pets of children or disable individuals that may not
be able to control a larger animal. It is also known
for its intelligence and curiosity. They live to be
about 30 years. Their bodies are will muscled as are
the hindquarters and legs. The head should be proportionate
to the length of the neck and body. Its ears are medium
size and pointed. Its neck is long and flexible and
the shoulders are long, slopping and well-angulated.
All colors and markings are possible with the American
Miniature Horse.
