Welsh springer spaniel Description
The Welsh Springer Spaniel is a medium-sized, compact dog with a silky coat. The hair is medium-length, straight or slightly wavy, and flat with feathering on the chest, undersides, legs, and tail. Its head is a bit rounded and the muzzle is square. The pendant ears are long and fringed with hair, somewhat like a setter's. Its eyes are hazel or dark-colored. The Welsh Springer is somewhat smaller and lighter than the English Springer, and somewhat taller and larger than the English Cocker Spaniel.
