Tibetan terrier Description
The Tibetan Terrier is a squarely proportioned, medium-sized dog that looks more like a sheepdog than a terrier. The double coat protects the entire dog, even falling in front of its widely spaced, large, dark eyes. Its fine outer coat is straight or wavy and the undercoat is soft and woolly. Its coat is long, but does not touch the ground. It has a level topline and a tight scissors bite or a tight reversed scissors bite. Its heavily furnished, feathered tail is carried over the back. The Tibetan Terrier has large, flat, unique feet that is abundant with hair, producing a snowshoe effect that provides traction and floatation in snow.
