Sussex spaniel Description
The Sussex Spaniel is a strong, massive dog. It has a will-balanced head which is broad and somewhat heavy. Its chest is deep and well developed. Its coat is flat or slightly wavy without being curled. The legs, undersides and tail are feathered. Its loose skin and heavy long ears can be compared to that of a Basset Hound. It has large, hazel eyes that have a sweet expression.
