Shih tzu Description
  The Shih Tzu is a small sturdy dog covered over with an abundant double coat of long hair lined with a woolly undercoat. It is a proud looking little dog that has hair above the nose growing upward, creating a "chrysanthemum" face. It has a rounded head with a profuse beard and mustache, short hairy muzzle and a black nose. The liver-colored dogs have liver noses. It has a definite stop. Its large, round eyes are wide-set and dark on most dogs, but the lighter on liver and blue colored dogs. Its pendant ears are so covered with hair that they blend right into the body coat. The teeth from a level or undershot bite. Its topline is level and its body is slightly longer than the height at the withers. The tail is heavily plumped and curled over the back.
