The Kerry Blue Terrier's coat changes color as it matures. It is born black to very dark blue, then goes to a slate blue to light gray. It may have black or blue points on the head, muzzle, feet and tail.

Kerry blue terrier Description
  The Kerry Blue Terrier is a medium-sized dog that is well-built and muscular. It has a long, well-balanced head that has abundant whiskers, beard and eyebrows. It has v-shaped ears that crease above the skull to fall toward the outside corner of its dark, keen eyes. It has a black nose. Its limbs are straight with a powerful bone structure. The tail is docked and carrried upright.
