The Irish
Setter has a profusely feathered silky coat that is
long and silky except for the head, where it is short
and fine. Even the feet are well covered with hair.
Its ears are triangular, thin, and soft to the touch
and are set low. Its legs are long and muscular. It
is slightly longer than tall. The muzzle is equal to
half of the length of the head. Its eyes are chestnut
or dark hazel. It carries its tail horizontally and
is fringed.
