Great Dane Description
  The Great Dane is a giant, robust and powerful dog with nobility and elegance. Its long, narrow head has an accentuated frontal stop and it has a rather large nasal canal. The neck is long and its front legs are perfectly straight. The thighs are muscualar and it has round feet with short, dark nails. Its tail is medium-length, reaching to the point of the hock. The eyes are round and usually dark with a lively, intelligent expression. The ears may be cropped and are rather long, pointed, and carried erect, or left natural. Great Danes have well developed white teeth. Its coat is short, thick, shiny and close fitting.
