Fennec Description
The fennec fox is the smallest canid in the world. They have a very pointed and small muzzle. Their ears are large in comparison to their body size. They can be up to 6 inches in length. Because they live in the hot deserts of North Africa, their large ears enable them to dissipate heat. They also have very small teeth in comparison to their body size, especialy the canines. To prevent the hot sand from burning their pads, their feet are covered in fur.
