English springer spaniel Description
The English Springer Spaniel is a medium-sized compact dog. It has long pendant ears. Its ears are set in line with the eyes and when pulled forward should reach the top of the nose. Its eyes are hazel or brown, depending on the color of the coat and are medium-sized with a kind expression. The head is strong and refined and in good proportion to the rest of the dog. The length of the head should be about the same as the length of the neck. Its back is level and approximatley the same length as the height at the withers. It has compact feet and its coat is medium-length, flat or wavy and feathered.
