The Bichon
Frise is charming and a puffball of a dog that has a
loosely curled double coat. The textured outer coat
is lined with soft, fine, silky undercoat that is 3
to 4 inches long and is virtually hypo-allergenic. It
is shown clipped like a poodle or long haired with clippings
only at the feet and muzzle. The Bichon Frise should
be trimmed for a rounded appearance. Its moderate muzzle
is not pointed and its stop is only slightly accentuated.
It has round, dark, intelligent eyes, a scissors bite
and hanging ears that are well covered with hair. It
has a long neck and a well developed chest. Its tail
is curved over its back.
