Affenpinscher Description
The Affenpinscher is a small dog with a harsh, shaggy coat, and longer hair all over the face. It is not a delicate dog and is a smaller version of a working terrier. The body is square, with a deep chest and a round head with a pronounced stop. The lower jaw is undershot, protruding below the dog's short nose. It has black eyes that are rounded and prominent. It has hairy ears that are pointed and erect and are customarily docked, however some countries have banned docking of tails and ears. Its neck is short and arched and the limbs are staight and well-boned. The tail is docked two-thirds its length and carried high. Its undercoat is slightly curly.
