Wild Cat Description
Resembling a slightly larger, longer-furred ( especially in winter) version of the domestic tabby cat, the Wild Cat varies from sandy to gray-brown.
The African subspecies,Felis silvestris libyca, is presumed to be the ancestor of the domestic cat.
The Wild Cat is active at night, and dawn, and dusk, it has several dens in tree hollows, thickets or rock crevices, where it rests by day.
